The domains I have worked in are: consumer electronics, data observability platform, government system design, service design, organisational design and retail fashion.

Interest areas that keep me motivated are: practicing and studying yoga philosophy, reading factual literature, writing about design, exploring crafts and travelling.

Exploring oil on canvas

I have managed to convince an extremely talented friend to teach me oil painting. So whenever I am in my hometown Kolkata, I look forward to the soulful and enriching weekends. Here are of my favourite explorations.

Capturing Bokeh

There seems to be a wabi-sabi moment in each Bokeh as the craft emerges when light, camera and time aligns in a certain unexpected harmony.

Handling clay

Pottery is a craft that involves all five elements: space, air, fire, water and earth. Apart from being utilitarian, the form is grounding and centering to the potter.

Being recognised for social impact

Getting a platform to voice out social issues and also having people listen to your solutions is one of the most gratifying experience as a designer. It's even better doing it with friends!

My highest education was at Sivananda Ashram, Neyyar Dam, Kerala

On my quest for knowledge and wellbeing, I ended up undergoing a 30-day formal training as a teacher of yoga. By far it has been the most enriching and meaningful experience. The study continues as I strive to design with better understanding.
